A UNIQUE DESIGN IN THE HEART OF THE FLEMISH ARDENNES

In the picturesque surroundings of Oudenaarde, the capital of the Flemish Ardennes, lies this home where the kitchen and living room merge together in an elegant and functional design.

The order came through a recommendation, as is the case with most of the projects by the De Keukenarchitecten studio, headed by Jan Van der Waerden. The owners were looking for a kitchen that was not only aesthetically pleasing, but also practical, easy to maintain and that perfectly blended in with their everyday furnishings.

A PROJECT THAT CONSIDERS AND EXALTS EVERY DETAIL

The essence of the project lies in the unification of materials. Wood plays a crucial role: a Galician pine specially selected and varnished to match the existing floor. This effort to match the furniture with the surrounding space ensures impeccable visual harmony. “The main goal was to unify the floor with the fronts of the furniture in the living room, and I think we achieved that,” says Andoni Unanue, from the Logos Satisfaction team.

In addition to the wood, the kitchen features outstanding technical details, such as the hot-rolled stainless steel of the worktop, a material chosen for its resistance to scratches and its great ease of maintenance. The design solutions go further, with Push systems in all the wall units and column units to achieve clean, handle-free surfaces. The island and the base units in alpine white lacquer stand out for their elegance and modern look.

INNOVATION AT THE SERVICE OF FUNCTIONALITY

Functionality is reflected in every part of the kitchen. The worktop, in addition to being resistant, incorporates discreet power outlets to ensure convenience for the customer when cooking. Even the air conditioning is subtly incorporated, without spoiling the general aesthetics of the design.



Jan notes that: “This kitchen is an example of how to combine elegance and practicality. Each element has been designed to make everyday life easier.” Jan also points out the care in the execution of each component part by Logos, highlighting the company’s unrivalled experience in the manufacture of tailor-made furniture.

A COLLABORATION BASED ON TRUST

A result of almost 10 years of collaboration between De Keukenarchitecten and Logos, this project demonstrates the synergy between creativity and technical precision. “Everything we can think of from a technical and practical point of view, Logos makes it possible,” says Jan. From specific cutouts to incorporate the air conditioning into the furniture to personalised details for the television. Each solution reinforces the concept of exclusivity.

THE RESULT: A KITCHEN THAT INSPIRES PRIDE

“When we see the final result, the whole team feels proud,” says Jan. This project not only meets the customer’s needs, but also takes each space to a unique level, with a quality that distinguishes Logos in every detail.

From the first idea to the final installation, this project in Brussels is a testament to how design, technical know-how and dedication can turn a kitchen into the heart of a home.
